Panggang Island Residents Appreciate New Industrial Entrepreneurship Training

The Seribu Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM), held a training on the development of new culinary commodity industrial entrepreneurs at the Panggang Island Multipurpose Room, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district. One of the residents from RW 02, Panggang Island Urban Village, Suharti (38) admitted she was happy to be able to take part in the new entrepreneurship training.
Besides gaining new knowledge and skills, training participants also received supporting facilities and infrastructure in the form of blender and mixer sets.
Cooking Competition Held in Cibubur Urban Village"I appreciate and am grateful for this training. I will make the best use of this cooking equipment assistance to develop my business," she expressed, Tuesday (8/20).
The same statement came from Panggang Island Urban Village Resident, Rini (30). She admitted that from this training, she got a new menu for business ideas and estimated selling prices.
"I have gained a lot of knowledge, of course, to open a new business I will pay more attention to cleanliness, quality, and the right selling price," she stated.
Seribu Islands PPKUKM Sub-agency's Industry Section Head, Deny Listiantoro uttered the training was attended by 25 participants who were prospective new entrepreneurs.
"This training is the first time it has been held. Previously, training was also held on Untung Jawa Island, Lancang Island, and Sabira Island," he explained.
He added the training lasted for two days with theoretical and practical cooking materials.
"We present competent speakers or presenters who already have a basic teaching background in the culinary field," he uttered.
In the theoretical material, participants are given an understanding of food hygiene or good food management and hygienic packaging. Then, the food costing material is a way of calculating selling prices with production and marketing variables.
Meanwhile, the skills materials provided include a menu of Sate Lilit, Samosa, Caramel Pudding, Shihlin Chicken and Chips, Talam Cake to Iced Pandan Latte, and Es Cendol Kopi (silky green rice-flour jelly served in coconut milk, palm sugar, and coffee)," he uttered.
